Guitar Hero Binge

Posted by Some-Stupid-Idiot - December 25th, 2008

Well yesterday a package arrived me in the mail. Well seeing as I already knew what it was I opened that sucker up and inside was Guitar Hero World Tour(Full set) for the Xbox 360. Well the first thing I did was set that up on the big screen and jammed with my family.

It arrived at noon and I didn't stop playing till some time past midnight. It's a good thing I have the whole set or I would be in pain right now.

I picked up the drums really fast and went to medium after a few songs and the singing took a little getting use to but I can play on medium as well.

So I beat all the free gigs, which is all you need to do, yet for some reason I didn't get the achievement for it. Where is my 150 gamerpoints?

It's a good game and I prefer it to rockband.

sounds cool man but i never liked how guitar hero and rockband got so popular do you know how many games like them where out before they stepped in the only lesson there on top is cuz they used lots of $ on advertising they just got lucky but anyway that sounds cool but what did you mean by "good thing I have the whole set or I would be in pain right now" i dont get what you mean if you played it past 12 hours no matter what part of it you should hert just as bad as just using 1 part

Vocals strain your voice, drums hurt to grip after a while, and guitar hurts your wrist, strummer mostly.

Well I like Guitar Hero because it's just fun. I prefer to Rockband becuase of the overall style.

Damn, I just have Guitar Hero 3 and Rockband, I hear there's a difference?

The difference between the two series is the style. World Tour's drum peripheral is also different.

You are crazy.

Crazy yes, shut-in yes

Rock Band 2 > that.

for real, i'd rather have a much more diverse setlist, much nicer graphics, more real character movement, everything. it's just all much preferred, guitar hero went downhill with that game.

i was happy with the drums though. :)

Realism doesn't bother me, and I like the set list, it had a lot of great classic songs, I can't say the same for some of the new songs. They really didn't need three 8 minute long Tool songs.

The only thing about the drums is that sometimes the cymbols don't register, I think whenever you hit the side, which can be really annoying if you're trying to activate star power or have a really high combo.
